Wordless Wednesday

Wordless Wednesday

We’ve had a lot of rain in the past week and it’s finally beginning to look (and feel) like Spring. The grass is thick and vibrant green, and the first of many, many mows began last weekend. But I’m most excited to see my flowers blooming! I look forward to them popping up every Spring beside our old garage, and they have finally made a show this year.

We’ve just started getting them here. It’s been a disappointing Spring so far, but I’m still optimistic.

Thanks for stopping by and happy WW!

They are very pretty and just right for bringing in this warm weather that’s trying to sneak in a bit. :)

It’s trying to warm up. At least I’ve been able to open up the house and air it out a bit.

    They are pretty contrasting colors.

It’s been really rainy in Nebraska. There’s even talk about more snow. NO!

More snow? Ugh, I hate that for you. It’s been a sad Spring for everyone this year, for sure.

Believe it or not, I’ve never done anything with them. They were growing next to our old garage when we bought our house about 8 years ago, and they return every year. I thought about transplanting them at one time, but I love the way they look in contrast to our old garage. We’re taking that old garage down to the frame this summer and redoing it so I’ve thought again of transplanting them, but they grow so well there that I’m afraid to mess with them.

      Happy WW!
