As a member of the Verizon Voices Program, I am asked to host two parties during which I share information about Verizon products and service. On October 6th I hosted the first of the two, and I’m excited to share with you some of my pictures from that day.
Verizon generously provides all of the awesome products we’re asked to talk about for demonstration and giveaway. Among the giveaways for [...]
It’s not a secret that I love to cook, but I’m not sure I’ve shared with you my cookware obsession. I suppose most who love to cook have collected a few more pieces than most, but I love cookware like I love shoes.
But, obsession aside, I’ve noticed something about myself over the last few years. Like most people, I suppose, the older I’ve gotten the more I’ve become [...]

So, I’m not going to call myself a wino, but I’ve been trying to write this post for the last 3 days and I’ve just been too damn drunk to finish it.
Okay, not really. (It was just 1 day)

This day was huge because, after nearly two weeks, Lily finally decided to make friends with Zadey. They sat on the couch together playing app after app on my Razr Maxx. Thank you, Verizon, for helping to make this beautiful little friendship possible!
I got back from Chicago in the very early morning hours of last Wed and am just beginning to feel as though I’m getting oriented and back on track. It’s amazing to me that just 3 days away from writing can put me nearly a week behind.
But, beyond all that, I’m thrilled to share with you the reason I was in Chicago last week.

How many of you have wondered what happened to the days of calling in a grocery list to our friendly grocer and having it biked over by some sweet, well-mannered neighbor boy, like Wally or the Beav?
It seems to me that the women of today, between full-time jobs, soccer games, and scheduled play dates, need that service far more than our mothers and grandmothers did back in the ’50’s!
