As you know, David and I were just in Puerto Rico. So, this week, I thought I’d share with you a wonderful local favorite we discovered while we were there.
I don’t have the recipe, though I did try to get it for you, so I’ll just have to tell you about it and share pictures.
Monfongo is a fried plantain-based dish. From what I understand, it’s usually made with fried green [...]
Well, David and I made it back from our vacation in Puerto Rico and our cruise just in time for this weeks Wordless Wednesday, so, naturally, that’s what I’ll be sharing with you.
I can’t wait to put a post together about our experience on each island, but, for now, I hope you will enjoy this small sampling of Castillo San Cristobal.
Have a great WW and the rest of your week!
I read an article last month on MarketWatch that said 60% of people between the ages of 50-64 are using social media such as Facebook, and 43% of people 65 and over are using it! That’s huge.

The weather was perfect all weekend and we had a wonderful day Saturday touring and learning about all of the beautiful ships. And, then, on Sunday, before heading back home, we visited the Adler Planetarium and strolled around the lake.
Happy (Not-So) Wordless [...]
So, I’m not going to call myself a wino, but I’ve been trying to write this post for the last 3 days and I’ve just been too damn drunk to finish it.
Okay, not really. (It was just 1 day)
But(!) the wine app I’m about to tell you about is so good, it totally could have gone down that way.
